·        Plates photograph awarded a Silver Key for individual submission at 2012 Minnesota Scholastic Art Award, displayed at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design gallery February, 2012.
·        Big Painting selected to be displayed in the Blake School Board of Trustees’ conference room for one year (spring 2011-spring 2012).
·        Paintings Eyes and Belgium selected to be displayed at West Suburban Teen Clinic for one year (spring 2010 to spring 2011).
·        Landscape painting recognized at Shattuck St. Mary’s Art Invitational – Juried Exhibition (October 2010).
·         Article written about Talkeetna painting  in Spectrum, high school newspaper (November 2010). 
·        Voted “Most Artistic” for senior superlative.

Personal:
·         I have attended Studio 7 for 2 ½ hours weekly during the school year since 2003, exploring the mechanics of drawing (still life, landscape, from a photo, and figure studies), painting (both acrylic and oil), mask making, clay work, and printmaking (ink on soft-cut). My artwork has been shown in each annual Student Exhibition. http://www.studio7mn.com/

Other:
·         National Art Honors Society member (2011-2012).
·         Personal Tie Die business for four years. I would tie dye an array of clothing- t-shirts, tank tops, boxers, briefs, panties, thermal shirts and thermal long underwear bottoms- and would sell them at Tom Schmidt Studio.
·         Hosted Live The Art party; group collaboration to make large-scale tempera paintings on cardboard as well as graffiti on cardboard (about 75 participants), (June 2010).

o   STUDENT OPEN HOUSE: GET SCRAPPY (October 27, 2011): “Get busy at the Walker's annual celebration for students, inspired this year by the new exhibition Graphic Design: Now in Production, and its showcase of designers-as-doers.”
o   TASK PARTY (February 17, 2011): “For this WAC Attack, participants chose a "task," gave a "task," or just watched the spectacle of open-ended play unfolded as plastic wrap, construction paper and metallic mylar used in a myriad of ways. A project designed by New-York based artist Oliver Herring, TASK Party is an "improvisational event with a simple structure and very few rules" where anything can happen.”
o   Student Open House: Street Level (October 14, 2010): “From posters and graffiti to stencils and wheat pasting this years Student Open House draws on the open air galleries of the streets. Presented by the Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council (WACTAC).”
o   Don’t Sleep On It (April 4, 2009): “Embrace insomnia and make art. Join eight groups of artists in a 24-hour art-making marathon surrounded by Minneapolis Art-A-Whirl madness. Dive in and contribute to a constantly evolving space. Participating artists include Burlesque Design, Erik Burke, Mike Fitzsimmons, Andy Ducett, John Grider, Hardland/Heartland, Liz Miller, Kristina Mooney, Chris Pennington, Brett Smith, Erin Smith, and Scott Stulen.
